Jack Herer Strain Genetics & History
According to Leafly, in the mid-1990s the Jack Herer strain was originally created and bred in the Netherlands and subsequently distributed by Dutch pharmacies as a medical-grade strain. It was made by combining a Haze hybrid with a Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk cross. Because of the unique mix, the dominant terpenes of the strain include terpinolene, caryophyllene, and pinene, in that order; giving the strain citrus, pine, wood, and spice flavor profile. Furthermore, offspring from the Jack Herer strain include Cinderella 99 and Amnesia strains.
