Food Feature: Wally's Drive-In in Buckley

Taking it back a handful of decades, Wally’s Drive-In is a retro quick-service restaurant in Buckley, Washington. Conveniently drive into one of the many parking spots and place your order through an intercom, or head inside for a welcoming diner atmosphere. Though it’s a fast-food-style joint, Wally’s prides itself on serving high-quality, locally sourced food that is made from scratch. Get Pacific Northwest local Tillamook cheese on your burger, add hand-cut fries on the side, and grab a milkshake made from fruit that is fresh from nearby farms.

Wally's Drive-In

In addition to classic drive-in food like burgers and fries, Wally’s serves up hotdogs, chicken dishes, and sandwiches, including turkey clubs, ham hoagies, and BLTs. If you’re sticking to the classic choice, choose from over a dozen burger options. Additionally, the Buckley drive-in, of course, has fried appetizers like mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, fried mushrooms, and chili cheese fries.

For dessert, choose from milkshakes, floats, ice cream cones, dole whip, sundaes, and their signature whizzers, which contain extra thick ice cream blended with Oreos, M&Ms, peanuts butter cups, and cookie dough. If you make it by on a Saturday, grab a half or full rack of Wally’s smoked St. Louis-style ribs, served from noon until gone.

There’s a reason locals flock to this neighborhood drive-in; drive in and see for yourself why locals choose this over popular fast food options. Wally’s Drive-In is open seven days a week from 10 am to 9 pm and until 8:30 pm on Sundays. Wally’s is located off of Highway 410, right around the corner from our Buckley dispensary, Mr. Bills. Grab some bud from us, then hit Wally’s to satisfy your munchies.
