The 3-week long festival will host a variety of entertainment for all ages, including rides, animals, concerts, competitions, exhibits, education, and more. And, of course, a fair is not complete without the unique spectrum of fair food.

Located about a 30-minute drive south of Seattle, the Washington State Fair is the perfect day trip to enjoy while the weather’s still hot.
Over 7,500 employees put in hard work to make this event happen, while over a million visitors enjoy the fair each year.
Past events have seen large artists performing, including Steven Tyler, Boy George, and Seal. This year’s concert series, sponsored by Columbia Bank, will host performances by Blake Shelton, Nelly, The Beach Boys, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lindsey Stirling, Lecrae, Shaggy, TLC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more exciting names. A select handful of these concerts will also have a pre-show party beforehand. Various comedy shows are also a part of this event series.

One of the most exciting and anticipated events of the fair is the Washington State Fair Rodeo. It features the Wrangler Pro Rodeo Tour Finale presented by Justin Boots. This event has been a tradition for 85 years, welcoming cowboys and cowgirls to compete for a prize.

Other fair highlights include the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit, Biggest Little Livestock Show, Cirque Ma'Ceo equestrian show, and The Farm at SillyVille, which educates about Washington’s food and farming history. Further, every Friday there is a firework show.
